Nancy has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is a certified STOTT PILATES® Mat and Reformer Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
Nancy had always been active in sports and fitness. Therefore, it was only natural for her to be drawn to the fitness industry after a career with IBM and staying home to raise a family of five.
Bilateral hip replacement surgery put an end to her love of running. Nancy totally attributes her Pilates practice to her full and quick recovery. Today, she enjoys cycling, Barre, Pilates, spending time with family, friends, cooking and reading.
Favorite foods: Pretzels and apples, lemon oatmeal cookie and a cold fountain drink.
Megan utilizes her physical therapy background and Pilates training with her clients and patients to encourage healthy movement and optimize daily function and performance.
In her free time Megan enjoys running, walking her goldendoodle, and spending time with her husband, Matt and daughter, Samantha.

STOTT PILATES® Instructor JoAnn Smith has a B.A. in Special Education from William Paterson University located in New Jersey where she is originally from. She moved to Omaha after graduation to teach in the Omaha Public Schools system developing social and vocation skills for young adults with developmental disabilities.
JoAnn began practicing Pilates 12 years ago to help manage a low back issue. She started teaching Pilates shortly after seeing and feeling the physical benefits. She became certified as a STOTT PILATES® Instructor in 2011 and completed the Injuries and Special Populations training the following year.
Jo Ann has also completed the STOTT PILATES® Cadillac, Chair and Barrel, Total Barre™, CORE™ Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training™ and ZEN•GA® instructor trainings. The most recent training was Aerial Silks and she has discovered that is a fun way to diversify a Pilates workout. She is pursing a goal of becoming a Fully Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor.
Her true Pilates passion is encouraging bereaved Moms to consider the value of Pilates work to manage and support the grief process.

Amy Himes, EdD is a Fully Certified Level 1 STOTT Pilates Instructor. She is trained in the areas of Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chairs, Barrels, Total Barre™ Foundations & L1, & CORE Foundations. Amy was originally drawn to Pilates in 2003 and she joined the Pilates Center of Omaha in 2012.
Amy earned a doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration at the University of Nebraska, Omaha in 2018. She has worked in the field of education for more than 25 years. Amy's top five CliftonStrengths are: Learner, Intellection, Input, Achiever, and Responsibility. Amy believes in an education of mind, body, and spirit. Pilates is known for developing strength, flexibility, body awareness, and mindfulness. Amy believes the most important benefits of Pilates are an enhanced sense of strength, stability, balance, and resilience - both physically and mentally.
Along with teaching Pilates, Amy is a Curriculum and Instruction Facilitator for Millard Public Schools. She believes that each person deserves a world-class educational community that engages & challenges all members. Whether a person is learning about science, world languages, or Pilates, that person deserves a caring instructor and the best instructional environment possible.
Amy's husband, Tim Himes Sr., is Senior City Attorney for the City of Omaha. Amy & Tim have four children (two sons, Tim & Chris, and two daughters, Ann & Emma). They also have two rescued dogs from the Nebraska Humane Society.
She holds a Masters degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska Omaha as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Concordia University.
Wendy is a fully certified LEAD STOTT PILATES® Instructor and Instructor Trainer in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Injury and Specials Populations as well as the STOTT PILATES® Group Training. She is also a CORE™ and ZEN•GA® Instructor Trainer as well as a Certified Post-Operative Breast Cancer Rehabilitative Specialist. Wendy has pursued her passion of health by becoming a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as well as a Dr. Sear’s Certified L.E.A.N (Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition), Prime Time and L.E.A.N Expectations Coach and is excited to bring a well-rounded health approach to the Pilates Center of Omaha clients.
Wendy spends her free time with her family, husband Bob and 6 year old Dexter and 2 year old Phoebe and enjoys being outside and active!

Beth sought out Pilates in order to work her body like an athlete without the impact and soreness in joints she would feel after typical weight training. After years of playing sports and feeling the effects, Pilates gave her an outlet to feel strong and flexible while building awareness of her posture and breathing.
Beth loves teaching Pilates because clients reap those same benefits; They gain strength and confidence in their bodies and learn the proper alignment of their spines, which many times help them improve the way they move throughout the day.
Her favorite snack is pretzels or grapes and she enjoys riding her bike, playing the piano or listening to music in her free time.
Cathy currently works as the Mindful Movement Coach at Sage Nutrition in Lincoln, working with individuals, partners and small groups in Pilates mat, reformer, yoga, TRX, strength training, and stress management. She also teaches Pilates Mat and Reformer classes at the Lincoln Athletic Club (formerly know as Lincoln Racquet Club). She worked at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for over 16 years most recently as the Movement Specialist with Counseling and Psychological Services and previously at Campus Recreation as Assistant Director of Fitness.
Cathy is originally from Council Bluffs and lives in Lincoln with her husband, 2 children, and their rescued dog, Dakota. Her hobbies include playing volleyball, reading and traveling. Her favorite snack is a trail mix from Trader Joe's.
Monae has always been interested in exercise and nutrition as a way of life. Growing up she excelled in sports and dance, and even ate healthy as a teenager! She remembers one summer day when she was about 16 years old, announcing to her parents and 3 sisters as they were all gardening, “this is the only body I get--I need to take care of it!” So, when she went to college it only made sense for her to study her passions--exercise and nutrition. She graduated with a degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Nutrition and immediately began educating & motivating people to adopt a healthier lifestyle. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Certified Group Exercise Instructor and Kickboxing Specialist. She also has a Counselor of Natural Health degree through the College of Natural Health.
She competed in Cross Country and Track at the collegiate level during her 4 years at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Also, while there, a campus ministry had a positive impact on her life and she vowed to give at least 1 year of her life back to a campus ministry. In 2002 she fulfilled this commitment and moved to Brussels, Belgium to work with university students. She liked it so much that she ended up staying 2 years instead of 1. Then, she moved to a small town in northern France and taught English in the public school system. While living abroad she got to share her expertise in fitness and nutrition by working one-on-one with college students and other adults. She even got to teach fitness classes in French.
Monae and her husband Phillip, along with their daughter Simone, are happy to call Omaha their home.
They frequent the farmer’s markets and health food stores to find organic and healthy choices, as well as tend a garden together where they grow many of their own veggies. Cooking healthy, gourmet, and in-season meals is a way they enjoy passing time together. They also love to be active together as a family. One of their favorite things to do is simply going on a walk and ending up at a near-by outdoor track to play games and run together.
Monae has been personal training and teaching fitness classes since 1999, and loves to work with people who are eager to develop life-long healthy habits. Two of her favorite fitness classes to teach are TRX and Circuit Training. She has been working with the TRX since 2007 and has been teaching Circuit Training since 2005. She loves how both classes easily accommodate beginners and advanced exercisers. Her next fitness endeavor is becoming certified in STOTT Pilates.
In her early twenties, health issues that weakened her body led her to yoga and she became an instructor in 2015. As her strength returned, Katie wanted to challenge herself and build muscle but found that after a couple of weeks of high impact training she was overly sore or injured and mentally burned out. One day, her boyfriend showed her a couple of videos where professional athletes were using Pilates in their weekly trainings. He explained that many athletes do Pilates because it is a low impact form of exercise and good for injury prevention and strength development. This intrigued her and she decided to learn more. She reached out to Pilates Center of Omaha then signed up for a STOTT Reformer training. What happened next she describes as “falling in love and finding my passion” all at once. In Pilates, Katie has found an amazing combination of toning, strengthening, stretching, and gentle exercise that is both engaging and FUN.
With a background as a horseback riding instructor, yoga teacher, and health coach, her desire is to create an experience during her lessons, where her client can feel calm, supported, present, and thoroughly worked out. One of her favorite things about being a Pilates instructor is helping her clients discover their own bodies in a new way (especially their CORE!) and celebrate with them as they reach their health and fitness goals.
